Thomas Mayo (1790–1871)

Physician. BA, Oxford (Oriel College), 1811; fellow of Oriel, 1813. Practised in Tunbridge Wells, 1818–35. Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, 1819; president, 1857–62. An authority on mental illness.
