Thomas Jarrold (1770–1853)

Physician. Educated at Edinburgh University; MD 1802. Practised in Stockport, Cheshire, and later in Manchester, where he was a member of the Manchester Literary and Philosophical Society. Published works on medicine, psychology, and anthropology.
