Carl Maria (Carl) Paul (1838–1900)

Austrian geologist. Studied at the University of Vienna. Editor of Verhandlungen der Kaiserlich-Königlichen Geologischen Reichsanstalt, 1873–93. His work explored the Flysch sandstone in ​​the Eastern Alps and the Carpathian mountains.
