John Firminger Duthie (1855–1922)

Botanist and explorer. Collected plants all over India as part of the Indian Botanical Survey. Superintendent of Saharanpur Botanic Garden, 1876–87; director of the Botanical Department of Northern India, 1887–1903. Assistant for India at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, 1903.
