John Philip Nolan (1838–1912)

Irish landowner, army officer, and politician. Officer in the Royal Artillery, 1857; served throughout the Abyssinia campaign, 1867–8. MP for Galway, 1872 and 1874–85; Galway North, 1885–95 and 1900–6.
