Harriet Sarah Jane (Jane) Sales (1862–1865)

Dressmaker and servant. Daughter of John Osborne, wheelwright and parish clerk, and his wife Mary. Apprenticed to Eliza Parslow, dressmaker, in 1851. Employed as a nurse by the Darwins at Down House, 1861. Married Sydney Sales, corn dealer of Down, in London in 1861.
