Cesare Alessandro Bressa (1785–1836)

Italian physician. Studied at the University of Pavia until 1808. In the US, in Philadelphia and New Orleans, 1817–29. Practised in Louisiana. Founder of the Bressa prize of the Royal Academy of Sciences of Turin.
