Edward Chitty (1804–63)

Legal reporter. Called to the bar at Lincoln’s Inn, 1829. Went to Jamaica in 1840. Author, in addition to several works on equity law, of The fly-fisher’s text book (1841), written under the pseudonym Theophilus South.
