Medical doctor. Studied medicine at Leeds, Guy’s Hospital, London, and Aberdeen. MD, Aberdeen, 1877. Senior physician at Leeds General Infirmary. Lecturer in clinical medicine, University of Leeds. Author of a number of medical research papers.
