Irish-born butler and publican. Employed by the Isherwood family, 105 Eaton Place, London, 1871; by Gertrude Susan Astley, 33 Prince’s Gardens, London, 1881. Married Eliza Keen (1840/1–1930) at St Aloysius’s Roman Catholic chapel, London, in 1879. Publican at the Builders’ Arms, 68 West Street, Portsmouth, from at least 1883.
