George Clendon, Jr (1827–1909)

American military officer. Provost-marshal of the sixteenth congressional district, New York, 1863–5. Commissioned captain in the Union army, 1861; major, 1862. Wounded in action in Virginia, 1862; discharged for disability from wounds, 1863.
