Titus Munson Coan (1836–1921)

American physician. Born at Hilo, Hawaii, son of Fidelia and Titus Coan, missionaries. Graduated from Williams College, 1859. Studied medicine in New York City and worked in hospitals in New York during the American Civil War. Acting assistant surgeon in the US Navy from 1863. In practice in New York City.
