Charles Algernon ("Algernon", "Ally", "Naturae Amator") Wilson (18 June 1818–20 June 1884)

Solicitor, public servant and entomologist; son of Thomas Wilson. He married Matilda King in 1860 and they had five children. Published under the pseudonym "Naturae Amator". He helped found the Philosophical Society of South Australia in January 1853.
