CG (Lord Glenelg) raises questions about the suitability of Mr. Train for a position teaching in the government schools at the Cape of Good Hope.
[Writing to Charles Grant, Baron Glenelg, British Secretary of State for the Colonies], JH advises on such aspects as the administration, staffing, and the form and content of the instruction at the newly established Government Free Schools at the Cape.
Following up on an earlier communication, JH expresses to CG (Lord Glenelg) his views on a variety of areas, e.g., curriculum, discipline, administration, and methods of teaching for the Government Free Schools at the Cape of Good Hope.
