Treasury commissioners have approved JH's new organizational plan and assignments for Mint.
Encloses minutes of Treasury commissioners, approving compensation by Paymaster-general to company of Moneyers for loss of earnings due to reform at Mint.
Appears to be presenting YV's calculations for the orbits of double stars. [Much of this letter is illegible.]
Moneyers will stop Mint operations next Thursday [10 July]. But do not expect Moneyers to leave if compensation for their machinery, tools, and lost income has not been settled by then.
Requests copy of Treasury's minutes relating to Moneyers' claims for compensation.
Evaluation of Moneyers' tools and machinery will be completed by Monday. Asks for written assurance that Treasury will pay Moneyers what Mr. Richards, the evaluator, determines their equipment to be worth.
John Romilly, invited by John Russell, will attend 14 July meeting of Cambridge University Commissioners to discuss Modern History professorship.
Urges JH to obtain HB's retirement allowance and compensation quickly.
Will meet JH tomorrow. Mint staff is taking over rooms from Moneyers. Transition is going smoothly. Joseph Nicoll is dying and will probably not draw much compensation.
Sends W[illiam] Lalor with letters for JH. Will go to Treasury at four o'clock.

Settled matter of Moneyers' compensation with Chancellor of Exchequer [Charles Wood]. Wants to discuss Henry Bingley's position at Mint. Will be in House of Commons that week.
Sends report on Henry Bingley for JH's approval.
[Richard Jones?] agreed to prepare letter to Lord John [Russell?] but not to send it. Now learns that meeting is scheduled for tomorrow. Agrees with JH and [William] Empson that [Thomas] Maclear's work should be rewarded, but wants to move more deliberately.
Glad that Dr. [Duncan] Stewart received promise from Mr. Prinsep of cadetship [in H.E.I.C.] for Stewart's son. WS cannot promise same for young [George] Maclear but will add Maclear to list of applicants for WS's patronage.
Please return Treasury minutes regarding compensation for Moneyers so CT may alter it. JH may give copy of it to Moneyers. Returns Jasper Atkinson's application.
Returns JH's original schedule for Mint reform, with amendments.
