The John Tyndall Collection
The collected correspondence of the physicist John Tyndall (c.1820-1893), about 8000 letters, is being published by scholars from five countries, lead by Bernard Lightman (York University), Michael Reidy (Montana State University), James Elwick (York Univeristy) and Roland Jackson (Royal Institution), in an 19-volume edition, The Correspondence of John Tyndall (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2016–). By agreement with the publishers, the full texts of the published letters from the first volume can be searched in Ɛpsilon, but are not yet available to be read online.
