LD has misplaced some figures on which he was to work.
Answers questions about chemistry (see 9202).
Asks for proportion of water and of nitrogen in various ammonium salts.

LD’s letter recalled old scenes on board the Beagle.
CD’s "bothering correspondents" seem to increase in number and in folly; has just answered "two precious fools".
