Embarrassed that JH's servant sent away messenger who brought papers for JH's signature. Does not consider Mint to be bound by Ralph Heaton's terms for copper coinage. JH prefers contract with Heaton similar to former contract with Boulton & Watt. Dies should be supplied by Mint, not made by contractor.
