Letter on mourning paper, offering condolences on the death of ARW's son Bertie (Herbert Spencer Wallace). Possible Spiritualist contact with Bertie through her, her sister or the medium Mrs Guppy; enclosing a transcription in an other hand, signed "Janie", of an alleged conversation held on April 25 and 26, with spirits, about Bertie; including the claim that he was now in the care of his Uncle Herbert.
