Sir, I have the honour to inform you that the President and Council of the Royal Society have resolved to offer a copy of the future volumes of the Philosophical Transactions to each of the foreign Members of the Society ; and I am directed to request that you will please to appoint some person in London to receive on your behalf, from time to time, a copy of each of the parts as they are published.
