Here is a copy of M^r Rich's very charming letter which I am sure w^d have pleased F. if he could have foreseen it—

Also I send a copy of W^m's letter to him both of which I sh^d like returned when Horace & Ida have seen them.

This correspondence removes from my mind the objection I had to the bequest—

We have got the Litches for an unlimited time, a great comfort to me.
