Here is your cheque. Wm left us this morning & the Litches yesterday.
R. is v. m. charmed w. Ellen & had a good deal of talk w. her—
If the day is decent, she & Bessy are going to call on Mrs Benson today but it is quite a storm, after a lovely day yesterday for the Band of Hope
Tea & Mrs C. Norman & step. d. called—
I am not very brisk so Goodbye, yours E. D
Frank is obstinate about telling B. & my back is a little up on the subject, as after all it is our affair as well as his & I shall say no more—
(B. asked Bessy "Why is Ellen always in Dadda's room"? answer I don't know—but she means to tell no more fibs about it—) The Tricycle is come & Frank is coaching him in great triumph—
