Down Farnboro' | Kent

Sept 21

My dear G.

It is delightful to think of yr being here on the 29th or poss. sooner   We shall certainly be here till Oct 5. or 6— Don't send off Isabel until you see if you don't want her here— Gwen has had a delightful mg w. Morgan Forster who is a jewel w. children & so gentle & careful—

The Franks are gone Bernard being cast loose in London for Oxford. Laura & Caroline W. will be here to the end— Horace was v poorly when here, but it was accidental—

We have a fog ev. mg & lovely blazing afternoons I am glad you are to have some relaxation of your diet—

Hen. is only to have a fortnight of the waters   The place is lovely & she is pretty well—

My best love to Maud how she will enjoy seeing her babbys not to mention you—

You ought to read Chamberlain's speech at Bradford

Yours my dear G | E Darwin

Boy is quite tame w. Caroline; but indeed he is w. everybody
