From Emma Darwin to G. H. Darwin 25 May [1893]

My dear George

This is only a line to say that I am feeling quite well after a good night. Dr Moore has just seen me & the only thing he advises is to see nobody (new) for a week— I shall obey of course— The journey was perfect & it felt very nice & safe to have you sitting there, tho' I could not talk to you—

I shall miss your constant visits my dear old man but I hope you will be able to fix a long stay here— my best love to Maud–- I hope you got home without much trouble & that you found Charley had had a comfortable day

yours E Darwin
