My dear George
I hope you will be going to K— Sqr— I am r. alarmed at the Opera—but Maud is not rash—- We have had 3 days of soaking rain, which I enjoy— everything is green & I am turning out the cows on the 29th Wm Snow wants to hire the grazing, & I will refer him to you— As he is my coal merchant I have a handle over him— L. & B. come late this evg—so L. will have 2 whole days of rest. I am afraid he is becoming v. tired. Wm went on Wed. He & S. & B. took a drive to Westerham for the view & poking about— Squeery's Park &c— S. enjoys seeing things w. a very fresh eye & she is really stronger.
Bessy goes tomorrow to the Allens for 2 or 3 days. She thinks of going to see Bernard—
I keep on reading the Debates & Sara helps me—
Lord Randolph made as furious attack on the Govt about the Irish officials as on every other part of the bill—but A. J. B. gave Morley credit for wishing to do justice. I miss the dear little faces & sounds about the house. Now we are so few I lunch in the dining room—
