My dear George

As you have only too much leasire just now Leo's letter may amuse you & then burn it— Alice B. C. came yesterday. She did not seem to know how hopeless poor M^rs M. Lennan's case is— It seems all the more sad from her being otherwise in good health— Poor Ella's letter is very touching I think I shall write to her— We hear she makes an excellent nurse. I sh^d have thought she w^d have been too impulsive.

It will be nice to see you again but I don't expect it at present—
