From Emma Darwin to G. H. Darwin [23 November 1895]

My dear George

As you have only too much leasire just now Leo's letter may amuse you & then burn it— Alice B. C. came yesterday. She did not seem to know how hopeless poor Mrs M. Lennan's case is— It seems all the more sad from her being otherwise in good health— Poor Ella's letter is very touching I think I shall write to her— We hear she makes an excellent nurse. I shd have thought she wd have been too impulsive.

It will be nice to see you again but I don't expect it at present—

yours my dear G— | E. Darwin
