My dear Effie,
As you were so kind as to send me a beautiful present of a picture Frank and I think we ought to write you a letter of thanks and to congratulate you on being at such a sweet place as Sandgate seems to be. I hear you are going to the Aldersons this evening and I hope you took Molly a few figs, as Erney was regretting all the way he had forgoutten his sucks. I am very glad my dear Effie you do very few lessons. As all the babies here now think they are great nonsense. And I am sure you think so too so with love to Dot and all goodbye your affec. cousins Annie and Frank.
