My dear William

Your father thinks it as well you should be informed that you are one of Aunt Cath's trustees (It is not a thing one could decline). You will have but little trouble as the settlements will chiefly aim at the unusual object of neither husband or wife having any thing to do with the others money. The wedding is on the 13th Aug. & Aunt Cath. has sent you an invitation to be present but you need only send your thanks thro' me as I have only accepted in case you should be here at the time. I wonder she likes to have a gang of boys & girls on the occasion but she seems to wish it. Yesterday Hen. George & Elinor Carter had a very successful jaunt to Canterbury to see the Cathedral. They were very jolly including Cyder & dinner & were back here at 9. Frank & Lenny went and returned at the same time to see the shooting at Wimbledon. Frank was too dignified to like Parslow to go with them which I believe wd have made it pleasanter for them, but however they did very well. I attempted buying a flute for Frank with very poor success so I have put it into Mr Latter's hands & we find he can also teach the flute so Frank will be just started in the right road before he goes back to school.

yours my dear old man | George is now at Hartfield L. H. P. comes this week—also Edmund. Strickland on the 22nd
