My dear W.
Papa says he will give you [Tasso] any how & if I like the picture I will buy it of you after it has paid a visit here—
We think 62£ very cheap on the contrary for all that.
I am glad you have a kitten—
Papa had a baddish attack two nights ago shivering & faintish but no sickness I am glad to say.
He had a bad headache all the next day & has not been so brisk since— I think it stands for one of his usual old attacks without sickness.
Lettington went the other day to the old quaker gent near Betchworth for Leersia. A very nice old vegetarian & tee total quaker & sent Etty the rarest English fern. Neither Lett. nor Duberry had the sense to take umbrella or great coat so they were some hours in that cold N. E. rain & caught a cold.
I am glad you are going to Embley & Ellen will keep the party alive & agreeable.
Goodbye my dear | E. D.
Hen. goes up tomorrow night after seeing Lizzy a bit
