Mar 7th.
Dear George.
Do you think you will be here before the boat race for if so I want you to ask Wrigley to let me go, for he said last time when Frank asked him, that if you had asked him he would have let go. In Horace's letter sais nothing about the price of the lathe. we want it about £20, he says it ought to be simple, I think we might get as much as we could for our money, I should think second hand would be almost best Perhaps Frank will go and fetch Henrietta from France next quarter which will be rather prime for him I have just come from Woodhouse's, I have had one stoped and am going again in 3 weeks.
I am your affec brother Leonard Darwin.
