Friday—
My dear Miss Darwin.
I am delighted to answer your kind note. Indeed I would not have you fancy for an instant that I could take your advice about not answering it. and shall be so desirious of news of you all that it will give me great pleasure to write to you when I am on the Continent. It is very dismal, this leaving England & all ones kind friends. It seems almost cruel of you to have been so kind to us, but we forgive, for I shall remember the pleasant days at Down all our lives— Thank you for your reminding to tell you when I am in England again. I shall be thankful to do so. The weather at Cambridge was not the best certainly, but I was not to be baulked of my pleasure by rain & so I saw a good deal—It is very charming—& if I was a "Fellow" I would remain there all my life—If you see Prof. Sedgwick give him my love—
Please remember me to your brothers & always affly loved. | Sara Sedgwick
