My ever dear Mrs Lichfield

Think how happy I was when I got your very kind letter with that beautifull [adress] to Mr Lichfeld it is just what his apperance is in his [Cards] &.. [When] it is relley sumthing to be admired it should be quit a treasur to me to look at & admire it..it was so very kind of you my dear sweet [pet] to send it  I cannot describe how much I esteem it . .it is more than I Could have Expected of you to have sent it.

I haup you wil [geat] a Comfortable House  I shall hear from DownQQQQ you [mensoned] Dearest not to think alltho you did not writ me often in the Winter I Could not expect you Could you will Have to attend to all your Household Deauties but abouve all your Dear Husband may the Lord Spear you both long to Gather

I am not going to writ much more at Present it is very Dark and Dissmall to Day I haup all the Dear Family at Down ar Well I am affrad Dear kind Mr [Darwin] is not making much Progress in helth now

My Sweet Child I am just going to finish  what I can I say to Dear Mr LEachfeeld  Culd I send Him my love you know I love you Dearest & if I do love you I ought to love Him I haup you will Both excuse me for my shortcummings—

I am glad Dear [Ann] is going to [geet] [married] She is a good girlle
