My deraest Hen
Mr Reed spooke very encouragingly about Horace going to school yesterday so that it has encouraged Papa—
He seems much struck with his abilities & feels sure he will get on quickly if he is pretty well. I never saw any thing so pretty as the mass of crocus's there. They are full twice twice the size of ours. But I do not much care for any flower in a cold March wind. Billy jibbed a little at starting but John drove him straight out of the yard again when we came home & out this mg again so I hope he will be good. I drove home & H. walked. Papa is but poorly today. We began ""broken to harness"" yesterday & could not endure it so knowing & cherooty & smart & horsey.
Keep At F. A.'s letter for me.
Goodbye my dear. It will be very nice to have you back— My love to Susan & Mary yours E. D.
