My dearest Body
We were so glad we did not keep you as every thing went well & my voice behaved beautifully. Horace was comf in the evening & we enjoyed our game of cards.
Today Papa is better than he has been for 10 days & briskly at work— & Horace has done some Latin & writing & is happy in the workshop. He is very much pleased at the thoughts of a few days at No 10 & it is very kind of Cath. asking him. I want you to consult her how next Wed. wd suit her when he comes up for Woodhouse. That is a small reason, but a better one is that you being in town then wd take him a little off their hands. He wd not want Anne any way.
You must write & tell me before Wed. otherwise he shall come up the 18^th^.
The snow is quite deep & steady.
We are so disgusted with old Todd we shall make short work of him. He is grown vulgar & stupid.
Goodbye my dear
I guess you are not at the Crystal Today.
