Wednesday
Dearest Body.
It will be very nice having you tomorrow. I had your little scrap. The boys came yesterday evening very jolly, but they got up so early today I think the day will be endless & they are rejoiced to think you & G & Ed. will be here in good time tomorrow.
Papa is having 2 bad days together which is very disappointing they have been alternate lately. He is going to rest from ice for a week. Today his pulse lowered while it was on which shewed at any rate that it had not any counteracting effect.
You will be fried by your journey today. The mowers seem distressed & we are carrying Luxted. I shall feel the care of the boys quite off my hands tomorrow & I do long to have you at home again, tho' I wd not have had your return any sooner.
We all enjoyed your capital account of Cader. I think it was very dangerous for Effie so late in the evg. too. I have not much hopes Papa will mend today but he is now doing a bit of Mlle Royer.
The boys rejoice at the thoughts of G. Goodbye | my dear
