From Emma Darwin to H. E. Darwin [14 June 1865]

Wed.

My dear Body

I did not give you praise enough for your nice long account of your walks.

Papa continued upstairs very languid all day & at night had some sickness. A good night & today he is much better & I hope will have a good day.

You will have a jolly meeting with G. tonight.

The party is just going to the Crystal this blazing day. I am not very sharp & have had to keep Anne but she shall go with the other party. This is only the 2nd day I have been muddling during your absence—
