Dear mother
I got a letter from Frank this morning, which I was very glad of; it was so full of feeling and kindness. He says ""I should like to come out and see you but my best hope is in hard work"". If, by any chance later on the idea should come into his head again I should like to know of it but I think this place, with the want of seclusion, would not be nice for him; In fact I think it was only a kind saying on his part. I have written to him again by this mail. It has been a pleasure to me to hear how you talk of Dickie; I have know and admired him so long that it nice to me, that you should all know what a right good Heart he has got; thanks again for all your long letters
