Klein comes off the worst. He seems to have got into a passion & quite boasted of his disregard of animals suffering. His answers were sent to him to verify & I suppose he then perceived how he was damaging himself as he sent them back so altered that the Comm– wd only print the 1st set in the text giving his emended edition in the Appendix
