Dearest Mother

If it was convenient I shd. rather like Jane to come up tomorrow. If she comes ask her t call at Qu Anne to see where she is to sleep. I think it will be there & she must come up & down— I don't care abt. this the least bit, only I hope by tomorrow t be able t go downstairs for a little *P ⁠⟨⁠delta symbol⁠⟩⁠ *Q then I want her a little more. I did just go down in my dressing gown for 20 minutes yesterday & heard a song or two.

They are all v. friendly & have accepted R., as naturally as possible. We shall stay here till Tuesday I think. & Laura comes up today or tomorrow. [Bencey] again said there was nothing the matter with me at all, & that I could doctor myself the best, that medicine was a series of experiments & altogether he [decried] his own trade for 34 hr. v. pleasantly. I do feel better today & shall get up open my window & pretend I'm out o doors for a little bit. I'm tired of writing so Goodbye. It was v. v. nice t see you dearest Mother— | your HEL | Hope the Acres went off well.

H. Spencer shall come home tomorrow R. wants to think abt it but hopes t send some kind of answer tomorrow
