My dear George
I was very sorry you could not be here for our [cite] meeting on Sat. last. You will have heard by this time of our sad defeat— 12-19. I thought we should have made a better fight. All the women voted for the Master & one or two sound votes for us could not come up
[illeg] you to Boston on Friday & Dine & I go at the same time to Berlin but return in about 14 day
The weather is slightly improved so [bed] I trust you have got over the worst of yr. cold.
It must have been frightful returning to such weather as you [illeg] letQQQQ in for.
Remember me to yr father Frank [etc].
Yr ev.
