My dear Darwin
I felt I was treading on dangerous ground in the part of my Primer to which you refer but as I had the advantage of my colleague Balfour Stewart's [illeg] & criticism I thought I had escaped blunders
Please let me have your criticisms I shall value them very much & turn them to account
17000 copies of the book have gone already and they had better have been buried if [3 words illeg] blunders broadcast
Ever yours very truly | T H Huxley
