Dearest Ida

I was so glad to read your comf. letter to Hen. before sending it on— What a comf. baby she sounds— I don't approve of Hilary & it is a man’s name—your reason against Susan is quite conclusive— I like Olive— A great emptying today— Leo & B. gone. Bessy went yesterday for 2 days to the Pattricks.

On Monday— Dickson chaperones G. & Ras. to Gomshall & joins me at Euston in p.m. to go to Ellen’s— Ras. is partic charming now: his great object is making puffuffs on the benches or any where, flowers, balls stones or Dominos all answer the purpose—a small one is Eee puffuff & a large one Oh puffuff—or big he says very clear—

The Uncoos are very popular but I maintain my place—

I have a good many notes so Goodbye my dear | E.D—

Just recd Horace & we will send Eras. on Wed—it will be rather more convent—except that I don’t think she can have a companion & Bessy—will have him for 2 days longer
