Sunday 10th May
Dear George
The authorities don’t object nor does Mr. Rouse to my comming to Cambridge for 2 or 3 days during the May races so will you get me a room & tell me when I had better come, it will be awefully jolly, any day will suit me just as well. I am very glad that I have left Clapham I should think it would be so much nicer going up to Cambridge from here than from Clapham & it is far nicer than Clapham & I do much more mathematics; I am doing Trig & algebra & am going to do geometrical conics in a day or so.
Mr. Rouse is a very nice man & will take any amount of pains but I dont think he is very cleaver but teaches very well. I should have written befor but I did not know I was coming; I hope you wont have any difficulty in getting a room. The direction at the top is quite enough
