From Horace Darwin to G. H. Darwin 16 August 1875

Dear George

If you are not using your Norwegian kitchen I should like to have it, will you ask Pouter if he will take it home for me & I will bring it on here. I am sure he won’t mind

I have not done any thing to the damned old machine since I have been here since my holiday as I went into the drawing office directly I came back and that absorbed all my spare energies; but I am going to have a wrestle with it this week & try to work it off. It was hot today in the drawing office 84°, I sat in nothing but shirt & trousers & the sweat dropped off. I like the work & I can do much more than I thought I could. Its very sad Pouter being off so soon
