Dear George

I have been thinking a good deal about moonometer, & have got a lot to say to you about it, in fact so much that I cant write it & shall wait till I come up to Cam. wh. I shall most likely do on this day week.

It seems to me that your plan is not very first rate, but this is what one thinks of any plan the more you think of it. 810 mill is a very small movement when you do get it. What we want to know most is whether Sir W.T. has tried bifilar suspension, & with what results. I hope Frank Balfour will be up this day week.
