From Leonard Darwin to Horace Darwin [1872–3]

Dear Jim

A vague recollection of your writing to me steals over me. I think you remarked that Cambridge was very nice   well I am afraid I cant come just yet. I am on a Building and Engineering Tour in London of all the places to tour. It is very jolly work Seeing railways making—artificial stone making—a new bridge over the Thames and so forth. I dont get away till 4 in the afternoon so I dont think that it will be worth while going up to Cambridge next Saturday

I shall write again soon? | L Darwin.
