My dear Horace

We have got Butler & the Litches here & wonderful to say, a fine day. Geo. is full of his multiplying cylinder which looks utterly mysterious to me— He certainly keeps better. Frank has been poorly all the week & has staid at home. He is going to try working half time; but it is unwholesome work dissecting in a bad atmosphere & I wish he had got thro’ with it.

The postman is come so I will only send Wm’s letter to fill up. By the way now we have a lady’s maid I have to turn you permanently into No 1. In the winter I believe u like it better. I hope u keep a bit netted my old man
