I think that Joseph progresses on the whole towards recovery2—but it is certainly very slow progress, & he is very susceptible to the weather— today being very mild and damp, with heavy rain in the morning, has not suited him, & he is not quite so well— he is, however, downstairs for the first time, & sitting in the study— I hope a few days more may see us at Yarmouth—
