Messrs Trübner & Co present their respectful compliments to Charles D⁠⟨⁠arwin⁠⟩⁠ Esq and beg to inform him, that a russian Correspondent of theirs Mr Kowalewsky is desirous of translating into russian Mr Darwin’s new work “Domesticated Animals”.1 Mr Kowalewsky offers to pay £1 p. sheet for the advantage of early sheets.
