From J. V. Carus   7 October 1867

My dear Sir,

I get in this moment the sheets T, U, X, Y, or p 273–336. Unfortunately the sheet S or p. 257–272 is still wanting.1 I hasten to tell it to you at once. I apply to you, as the envelop bears the stamp “Bromley” and I therefore conclude that you were sending the sheets.2

Pray send the missing as soon as possible   Believe me | Yours most truly | J. Victor Carus
